TLT ACTOM

TLT ACTOM (Pty) Ltd was established in 2015, as part of a joint venture between TLT-Turbo (GmbH) and ACTOM (Pty) Ltd with the goal of providing clients in the sub-Saharan region with the best of both companies, being high end fan technology from TLT Turbo and the financial and market presence of the largest electro-mechanical Group in Africa, ACTOM.

The typical fields of application for our fans and systems include thermal power plants, mine ventilation, steel processing, chemical and industrial process, cement production, waste incineration and tunnel ventilation sectors.

The design and manufacture of TLT ACTOM’s products are carried out in accordance with our well entrenched ISO 9001, EN12101 and ISO3834 systems with extensive experience in the supply of turnkey fan installations both for industrial and mining fan installations. In industrial applications, we are able to serve the steel, metallurgical, power, cement, chemical processes, food and beverage, incineration, drying and de-dusting sectors. In the construction sector we serve the HVAC market with a full selection of fans, including EN 12101-3:2002 smoke and heat control systems, silencers and associated equipment.

Products are manufactured in-house at our facility in Germiston and by approved and qualified sub-contractors. The technology and innovation is sourced from TLT-Turbo in Germany and from FläktWoods in England for HVAC fans and silencers. This technology is localised and converted into manufacturing instructions by our engineering team. Engineering modelling and simulations are conducted locally to suit client specific requirements backed by regular fan testing to ensure continual improvement in efficiency.
