GloleadN is an accredited policy-based and implementation NGO with a head office in Johannesburg, South Africa. Safeguarded by underlying values such as professionalism, diversity, inclusion, trust, empathy, integrity and commitment, GloleadN offers services that contribute in the transformation and sustainable development of impoverished rural and urban communities in Africa. As an NGO, we have noticed that inadequate institutional and human capacities, poor leadership and socio-economic problems such as inadequate skills, lack of access to information, poor policy, unemployment, inequality, poverty and intercultural conflicts, are the root and remote causes of fragility, tensions and wars particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa and other developing countries in the world.
As an organization, we strive and take pride in activities that foster transformative leadership and change, ameliorate rural and urban poverty, promote social cohesion and enable sustainable peace and development. As an agent of sustainable livelihoods, leadership, and social development, GloleadN has adopted both theoretical and pragmatic approaches in dealing with issues of vulnerability in communities. We engage disadvantaged and fragile communities especially the most vulnerable groups of people such as women, children and youths, and organizations, identify their specific needs in education,management, leadership, livelihoods, social welfare and development, initiate and involve them in the ownership of projects that generate meaningful outcomes in such communities.
As a learning organization, and as part of a professional learning community, GloleadN acknowledges the indispensability of collaborating with other stakeholders with similar objectives. It therefore values partnerships with other local and international NGOs, government institutions, and private individuals, and corporate involved in sustainable global peace and development.
While striving to adhere to a self-sustaining model, as a young and vibrant organization we also rely on funding and other forms of support from national and international governments, the private sector and philanthropists that will facilitate our activities and enhance the attainment of targeted goals and beyond.
In order to achieve its fundamental objectives of promoting sustainable livelihoods, leadership, social cohesion, and sustainable development in disadvantaged and fragile rural and urban communities, the organization has embarked on activities that will speed up the realization of these core objectives in such communities. The organization is therefore proud to offer unique and cutting-edge services to rural communities and townships in South Africa, Sub-Saharan-Africa and the rest of the developing world in the following core areas: 1) Capacity Building and Professional Development 2) Research, Policy development and Consulting, 3) Management and leadership development 4) Social Development
