Seeff Pinelands

The Garden City suburb of Pinelands is located on the edge of the Southern Suburbs at the foot of Table Mountain. It is primarily residential and often praised for its peacefulness and abundance of Pine trees. It is one of the few areas in Cape Town in which the sale of alcohol to the public is prohibited but some clubs and restaurants have private liquor licences. It was established in 1919 and the first thatch house in Pinelands at 3 Mead Way was occupied in February 1922.
