Rotavi shares a 7km border with the renowned Mabula Game Reserve, has an abundance of game including: Buffalo, Giraffe, Eland, Kudu, Leopard, Blue Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Zebra, Waterbuck, Gemsbok, Nyala, Blesbok, Impala, Crocodile, Hyena, Mountain Reedbuck, Warthog, Bushpig, Duiker, Steenbok, Klipsringer and a huge variety of birds and smaller animals.
Rotavi has 187km's of winding roads, 9 watering holes, its wide variety of animals and birds, together with its picnic and lookout locations makes for memorable game viewing experiences.
Rotavi’s philosophy regarding its fauna and flora centre around creating, complementing and enhancing the Waterberg greenbelt area thereby allowing biodiversity to flourish. Rotavi’s game management program is focused on animal gene pool and specie optimization coupled with sustainable utilization and protection of its wide variety of plant life, grasses and trees. Accordingly, both game capture and hunting form an important component to this game management program.
