Osiiiris, real name Thabo Happiness Masiza, was born 20 November 1994. He is a writer/rapper/performer from a small town of Virginia, in the Free State. His passion for writing poetry and songs started in '04. As young and naive as he was, he realized his love for writing and music in general. He continues developing his skills of writing and rapping, believing that an artist always has room for growth.
Osiiiris has proven countless times on various stages that he is an extraordinary performer. Having performed at different places from taverns in the depths of the Free State ghettos to sharing a stage with the mega South African Afro Pop group Mafikizolo, Osiiiris always delivers with intense energy making him one of the most exciting upcoming artists from the province of the Free State.

Life’s experiences and abstract notions of the world inspire his lyrics, that is; he draws inspiration from his own life, and other people's life experiences, whether good or bad. Heavily influenced by what pop culture calls "conscious rap", his influenced by the likes of Nasir Jones, Common, Immortal Technique, and ProERA, just to name a few. He believes true art has no definition. He sees life as art in itself.

Osiiiris matriculated from Welkom high School in '12 .He is now a 3rd year student, studying a BA (Governance & Political transformation) degree, at the University of the Free State.

Osiiiris lives in Bloemfontein, he is currently in studio recording his first ever mixtape titled ”Crushed Grapes & High Grades” and is working towards building OsIIIris as a brand house for his production and product.
