In the heart of Sea Point Palm Garden's Helen Zille Wing, is a tranquil private sub-acute hospital facility. This 19 bed facility has 13 single private rooms, one double room and one four bedded ward; ensuring that your stay is in the interest of both your personal requirements and your privacy.

Our experienced and highly skilled Nursing Manager, team of Nursing Sisters, Staff Nurses and Carers will cater for all your medical and personal needs, while our interior invites you to feel as though you are in a boutique style hotel environment.

We offer a goal oriented multi-disciplinary approach.

Within 48 hours of admission, patients are evaluated by our skilled multi-disciplinary team. Once the initial assessment is complete, the team develops and individualised treatment plan, sets rehabilitation goals and establishes a projected discharge date. The patient's multi-disciplinary team holds weekly meetings to discuss and evaluate the patient's progress and ongoing care.

Family members are encouraged to be active participants in the rehabilitation process - They are invited to attend therapy sessions and formalize training in preparation for the care of the patient upon discharge.

During the Family meetings, family members are encouraged to ask questions and express any concerns they may have about their loved ones progress, discharge an at-home care needs.
