Cossacks riding school & livery yard

After a 2 year holiday we have been persuaded to open our doors again and to offer some magical horse riding experiences to guests and travellers as well as locals in the Garden Route. This time we operate from our farm in George and we offer fun and safe farm horse trails, with NO on the road riding. We have some forest areas to ride through and the scenery is tranquil and relaxing and occasionally we even spot some wild life like a bush buck.

We offer a 1 hour trail and let you have fun meeting your horse and giving it a groom and we show you how to tack up a horse ( putting on a saddle and bridle) , so you will need to add one 30 mins to your time. Your contribution is R 250.00 pp

We also offer a 1.5 hour trail to a small river and meander through quiet a stunning area to get there :) Your contribution is R 350.00 pp
Max weight of the rider 85kgs

The duration of the rides will vary depending on your level of riding skills. If you can ride well we will include a few canters too and maybe depending on skill and weather allow you a swim in the dam with your horse. Your contribution is R 100.00 pp for swimming

You may go for a swim in our dam to cool off after the ride and we will have refreshments available for you.... i,e a nice cool Beer or soda R 15.00

Child care R 25.00 per hour

For the Bass fishing enthusiast we can hire you a bass rod or bring your own. It is a catch and release policy R 100.00

We also do offer riding lessons for young and old and now have a child care service available in the afternoons for riding mothers and a cute petting zoo of all kinds of tame farm animals .

We offer stabling, outside livery for your horse, or private sheltered paddocks, as wellas horses to lease. We have a live in groom that checks on the horses 2x a day as do I.

Facilities include X country course, Show jumps, 20x 40 working areanas, stunning rides, Tack room and bathroom.

We can back and school young horses and teach your horse to box .
