Introduction to ZPC
The ZPC Group is a proud South African group of Companies. It is the collaboration of a group of individuals and Companies delivering efficient Projects for the past 20 years in the Construction Industry.
The ZPC Group is a design, development and construction Group of Companies, specialising in large Hospitality and Retail Projects. Our turn-key solution for new and redevelopment projects, from initial consultation and building concept design to keys handover at construction completion, allow us to provide functional and attractive buildings within tight time and financial constraints.
The ZPC Group of Companies’ area of operation is National as well as International, including countries like Gabon, Togo, Nigeria and Cameroon.
All our turn-key projects start with the Consultation Phase in which Professional members of our Company identify and consult on project assumptions, constraints and priorities. A Project proposal of methods and timelines is presented to the client for their perusal, feedback and input.
In the Design Phase of the Project, our in-house Engineering, Architectural and Design Team designs the structure and Services (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civils, Fire Detection & Control, IT & Networking). All done to the standards applicable to the Country and specified by the Client. Our team’s 3-D rendering of the Project Drawings enables the Client to experience the general feel and visualisation of the Project.
Our professional Development staff then quantifies the Design and brings it to Site works stage in the Development Phase. The Development team finalises the Drawings against client approved concepts and implemented variations. Procurement and Construction Contracts are finalised. Consultants and approved Sub-contractors are appointed. The Site is established for work to commence.
The ZPC Group has spent many years developing our Systems and Control measures on an ongoing basis, allowing us to constantly meet our Project timelines and Quality levels required in the Construction Phase. Through extensive investment in our staff’s personal and professional development, the Company strives to create an environment for staff to excel and then transfer their expertise to the Client’s Project. A high level of construction efficiency and quality is achieved on site through multi-skilling of our own labour force, in order to ensure sustainable employment opportunities and to limit work being sub-contracted.
Through Enterprise Development, local small business owners are incorporated into the Projects to encourage development of local labour and artisans by applying our Skills Transfer Program, as well as our Social Programs. Environmental Impact Studies guide our Company to minimise the impact our activities have on the local environment.
