More about Woodlands Bush Lodge

Within the lodge environs, you can swing under the trees in a hammock for two, cool off in the pool, enjoy the magnificent view from the patio, or relax in the lounge with a good book. A watering hole outside of the low level game fence (to keep out the warthogs who believe the garden is the ideal al fresco dining venue), sees zebra, nyala, giraffe and impala amble past quite nonchalantly as you soak up the atmosphere. Both wood and gas braais, as well as a fully fitted and equipped kitchen and a full DSTV bouquet complete the package of this lovely escape from the busy outside world. Woodlands Lodge has four fully equipped bedrooms with air-conditioning (two with queen beds and two with singles) and four bathrooms which is separate from the main living area.
On the estate there are many and varied game drive and cycle routes, dams and watering holes with hides from which to view the free roaming animal population of impala, kudu, zebra, giraffe, warthog, eland, wildebeest, waterbuck [to name a few] and over 170 bird species providing ample opportunity for good photos. Your hosts are resident on the Estate and are available to advise on local conditions, best restaurants, local events and features, to help maximise your enjoyment.
