WITS RocSoc

Geoscience at Wits goes beyond just academics. We encourage our members to become well rounded individuals with a strong academic foundation and strong social skills. Our aim is to ignite ones passion for geology while developing the social skills of our members and forging an element of unity.

RocSoc hosts various socio-economic events during the course of the year. These include: Welcome Braai; Careers day; Fieldtrips and The RocSoc Ball amongst others. RocSoc has a soccer team (The Navigators) and we are looking into establishing a netball team.
