Witpoortjie Bowling Club

Witpoortjie Bowling Club Club was established in 1977 and from those humble beginnings has grown into a formidable club within the SABLES district. We support the mission and vision of Bowls South Africa, and strive to encourage a healthy activity which caters for all ages both young and old. We are continually creating a fun environment for social players as well as a competitive atmosphere for the more seasoned bowler. We share the spirit of "Ubuntu" and welcome all members of our community.

Facilities

Witportjie Bowling club has two A Grade greens that are kept in prestige condition by our in house green keeper Wilson Malobolo.

Bar facilities are available for those that may need a little thirst quencher after having a fantastic game of bowls or for those that would just like to drop in and say hello. Jafta our Resident barman would be happy to provide you with a refreshment of choice.

Witpoortjie also has and outside function area "The Jolly Jack" which along with the clubs hall is available to hire for functions and or team building events. Feel free to contact George on 0829792003 for bookings or further information.
