Winelands Solar is approved by Eskomh and we are registered with SESSA. Our forte is the supply and fitment of new solar geysers, and conversions of traditional electrical geysers to solar units (retrofit).

Winelands Solar makes switching to solar simple. They have successfully installed more than 70 Eskom/SABS approved systems in Stellenbosch, Somerset West, Paarl, Durbanville, and the rest of the Western Cape

Solar Geysers
We offer a range of solar geyser options using either direct geysers - where flat plate solar collectors or evacuated tube collectors heat municipal water directly - or indirect geysers that depend on heat exchanger technologies. We offer full solar as well as retrofitted options, the latter referring to the conversion of electrical geysers to solar alternatives. A full solar installation refers to a situation in which a solar geyser is installed as the initial geyser installation.

Solar Electricity
We supply solar panels for the production of electricity from solar energy – enabling you to generate your entire electricity requirement from sunlight. This is accomplished through the installation of our unique solar panels which convert energy from the sun directly into electricity using photovoltaic technology.

Heat Pumps
We are suppliers of ITS heat pump technologies. Heat pumps attached to your electrical geyser utilise a fraction of the energy required to produce heated water, and do so up to four times quicker than a traditional electrical geyser. This means that you reach the desired water temperature using a fraction of the electricity previously required. The resultant financial benefit speaks for itself.

Control Systems
We are suppliers of SunScan and Geyserwise geyser control systems. These control systems give the homeowner control of geyser operation times, ensuring that the unit only functions when it’s required to do so. This results in significantly lower energy costs each month.
