Wild Pines Academy

We began as a small group of mothers wanting an education for our children, which, not only preserves and protects childhood, but also nurtures and nourishes the child. An education which works with their talents and strengths and helps them develop in other areas as well.
This was in response to the frustration we often felt at what was being offered in mainstream schooling. We felt a deep rooted responsibility to our children to give them something more than what was being offered.
We were fortunate enough to learn about the Waldorf Curriculum. Upon exploring this curriculum we found that it was possible to impart an education to our children without sacrificing joy, in fact it brings a great deal of joy not only to the children, but to their teachers and families as well.
At Wild Pines Academy we use Live Educations Waldorf Curriculum. This curriculum was set out by Rudolph Steiner over a 100 years ago.
