Whitsunday Crocodile Safari is an advanced eco-certified full day nature exploration into the Whitsunday hinterland and estuaries which are home to native animals, reptiles, birds and vegetation. Operating daily, the Safari offers a fully guided and safe Australian nature experience with the opportunity to see crocodiles in the wild.
Included in the Safari:
• A two hour calm-water cruise on Proserpine River with crocodile watching. The Proserpine River is home to the saltwater (estuarine) crocodile as well as many other residents of the mangrove habitat.
• An open air, elevated wagon train tour through wetlands and natural waterholes which are home to a variety of birdlife, native mammals, and reptiles.
• Queensland mud crab capture and display.
• Aussie barbeque lunch (vegetarians catered for on request at time of booking).
• Freshly cooked, traditional bushman’s damper and billy tea.
• Covered campsite including picnic tables and chairs, cold refreshments, toilet, shelter from sun, wind and rain and located in picturesque, bush setting with views of Proserpine River.
