Whisper BOAT Building Academy

Whisper Boat Building Academy is in a partnership with KZN Sharks Board Maritime Centre of Excellence, who holds an NQF accreditation with Merseta.
Whisper Boat Building Academy was established in Western Cape in 2004 and has saved various communities of the Western Cape specializing in the Deaf Communities. There have been a few projects undertaken including that of Khayelitsha boat building skills development.
Whisper Boat Building Academy was sponsored by the Western Cape Government and other stake holders.
It has since relocated to Durban under a new board that have a mandate to take the Academy to new level. The strategy is to turn it to become a sustainable organ in KZN and the country as a whole. Whisper Boat Building Academy currently does not have any sponsorship and we would appreciate in kind for any partnership, donations as well as sponsorship.
