Welridge Academy

Welridge Academy began in 1987 as a Pre-Primary School only. The school has had various names throughout the years and was named Welridge Academy in January 2008, with the view of starting a foundation phase. Since then we have grown the school from a Pre-School to a Primary school as well as a Pre-Primary school.

Currently our Primary schoool is divided into two phases: our Foundation Phase where we cater for Grade R to Grade 3 and our Intermediate Phase where we cater for Grade 4 to Grade 6.

In 2014 we will introduce our Grade 7 class.




Our Pre-School learners also follow a set curriculum which begins with our toddler class (16 months). We have set routines to be followed by all, and these have yielded excellent results.
