Wavescape Festival

The Wavescape Festival was born of a love of surfing and surf culture, and the simple idea of sharing these good feelings with an audience. Ten years on, we present a range of film, music and art events in South Africa and Reunion, all with the aim of having fun, building community and promoting conservation.

Wavescape runs in Durban in July, Reunion in September, and Cape Town in December. Our presenting sponsor in 2012 is Pick N Pay, and supporting sponsors are The Save Our Seas Foundation, Jack Black Beer and Billabong. Media partners are Men’s Health and Mahala.co.za. Wavescape works in partnership with the Durban International Film Festival.
