Voet van Afrika Marathon

The Voet van Afrika Marathon is in it's 38 year in 2016. There is the 4km Toonjie on Friday 14th October @ 18h00. Entries taken at start only. The 10km race starts @ 08h00 on Saturday 15th October. Entries taken on Friday from 14h00. Both the 4km and 10km (8h00 Saturday 15th) starts at Mega Park Bredasdorp.
The 21.1km race starts on Grashoek farm, 19km outside Bredasdorp @ 07h30 and finishes at Mega Park Bredasdorp. No parking at the start available for the 21km. Transport depart at Mega Park from 06h00 and the last leave at 06h45.
The 42.2km race starts @ 06h00 on the Elim Road, 9.5km from Bredasdorp. Transport leave Mega Park from 04h00 and the last leaves at 05h15.
There is limited parking at the start. No transport will be provided back to the start after the race.

The 21.1km and 42.2km is a mixed bag of trail and road running with grueling ascents and descents, stretching athletes' stamina to the limit.
