We are a co-operative company which is run by young expertise,that promete young and coming artists, formed by Xolane Voro-Viruz, Lebogang Ratlhagane, Vuyani Vuda-Vest, Michael Mashiane,Ketsi Mashigo, Bonolo Thebe, Jabu Skosana
Lime light Art Foundation (LLAF) it’s a cooperative company which is formed by young expertise in arts sector, we came up with the idea of reviving arts in our community and other surrounding areas next to our township, develop, build and engage young kids into arts world. To see every individual take part in arts by learning, supporting and be engage.
Lime Light Art foundation is situated at number 1799 corner Lesabe and Naheng in the Wattville area under the development of Adelaide Tambo Development Centre which help us with the resources. The Art Foundation is registered as Cooperative.
LLAF was established 14 March 2011 by young people who were sitting at the corner talking about disadvantages of arts in their community and what have their learned when their where dancing and singing for other well-known production such as Africa Umoja, Mpilo, Viruz Dance Crew and share a stage with Black Eye Peas, Alicia Keys, R-Kelly and many more at the world cup.
We want to establish our arts school; it will be 50% arts and 50% academically in every township around the country and introduce arts in our communities. LLAF it’s creating job for unemployed youth and young people in our communities and we are managing and marketing for artists such as Veli, Voro Da Viruz, Nonhle, Viruz Empire Family and Viruz Dancers. We played edutainment movies for school Ekukhanyeni Primary School, Winter School 2011 and Nontsikelelo Drop In centre.
