More about Victory Celebration Church - Mahikeng

Apostle Kingsley Ohene-Marfo, accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour in 1986, whilst working as a nurse in Nigeria.

Later, as if to fall in line with the divine plan of the most High, Kingsley headed to South Africa – Mafikeng to be precise. He continued in his walk of faith and as destiny would have it, he was ordained a pastor in 1992, and assigned to Lotlhakane branch [Mafikeng] of the Living Faith Ministry.

Though comfortable in his professional career, the Spirit of the Lord continued to minister to him that he was destined for something else – greater responsibility. Through prophecy after prophecy, it was revealed to Pastor Kingsley that God had a bigger purpose for his life.

He founded Victory Celebration Centre in July 1997. His faithful walk with the Lord got him recognition from the International College of Apostles in Diaspora based in the United States of America. In 2009 the college ordained him as an Apostle.

In an endeavour to fulfil the great commission of Jesus Christ of spreading to gospel to different nations, Apostle Kingsley is on Spirit Word Television Channel [DSTV], every Tuesdays at 20h00 as well as on Top Gospel [TOP TV] every Tuesdays at 23h00 with a repeat on Wednesday at 14h30.

Apostle Kingsley Kweku Ohene-Marfo is married to his beautiful wife, Bridget Ohene - Marfo, who is also a servant of the Lord in her own right. Besides being the full-time administrator of the Ministry, she is also president of the Ladies Fellowship. The couple is blessed with three children, Michael, Ophir and Gift.

Victory Celebration Centre Ministry was founded on the 13th July 1997. The first service was held at Redibone Middle School, then moved to Unibo Chapel in the beginning of 1999. Later that same year, the Ministry acquired and moved to its present site which is located at 4718 First Avenue, Imperial Reserve, Mahikeng.

Since then the church has grown tremendously. All in all the Ministry has over ten branches. Nine branches nationally and four internationally, one in Bosnia-Herzegovina and three in Ghana.

This is in line with the mission of the Ministry: TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IN ITS TOTALITY TO EVERY CORNER OF THE EARTH.

At the moment the Ministry is in a process of completing a three thousand seater auditorium which will house the offices of the Apostle and other Ministry officials.
