About Velskoendraai
If you take the Clanwilliam off-ramp and over the bridge that straddles the Olifantsriver, you best take note of a sharp turn ascending up from the bridge, and on the bend you’ll see the turnoff to Tweeriviere Farm, but that bend is known to those familiar with this area as: Velskoendraai.
This little place with its humble beginnings is starting to grow not only on the locals who buy their fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables here, but also in the tourist market, we are fast becoming a visitors destination.
Here is a safe play area for children with swings, and we even have a variety of farmyard animals.
Patrons that sit on our enclosed stoep look straight into our orange orchards, and in season its is a marvel so see the oranges hanging almost invitingly on the trees and our Midknight oranges hang on the trees ‘till very late in the season and we sell lots of pockets during this time.
We sell bin loads of patotoes, watermelons, oranges, naartjies, musk melons, butternuts, tomatoes and onions all in season.
Velskoendraai consists of the Farmer’s Market, Gift shop and our 40 seater Restaurant offers innovative menu options that are good value for money.
