I wish I could tell you some magical story from when I was two and found an enchanted camera in my granddad’s garage that shoots rainbows and grants wishes or how I was born with my film camera in my hand but that is not my story. I am a small town girl from Secunda Mpumalanga who didn’t discover my passion for photography until much later in my life, my high school sweetheart of 10 years saw my devotion to photography and bought me my first Game special camera.

Everything in my life changed for the better after that. Long story short, 5 years later I am now married to my husband Hannes, we have a sassy 5-year-old golden child and together we share our home with our 5 dogs, 2 love birds, and our cat Capri. We fill our days planting in the garden, burning food and sleeping late.
I have an impressive mug collection but hate coffee, I’m a loyal apple user and have an unhealthy obsession with succulents. Oh, and I have pink hair. I love me some fresh flowers and there is rarely a time when my house is not filled with some colorful flowers, the local plant nursery is my favorite hangout of all time and if I weren’t a photographer with a family I would be a part of the Sea Shepherd conservation society.

But on a serious note in the 5 years that I’ve been a professional photographer, I have found my style, work ethic and I am finally living my dream of being a wedding and lifestyle photographer. I am self-taught and from working hard and believing in my dream I now get to call my passion my full-time job. I can’t wait to meet you and be part of your special story, thanks for stopping by.ed.
