Unichem Services Ltd in South Africa is a specialty chemicals company, marketing and distributing specialty and fine chemicals, Grp I, Grp II & Grp III base oils and synthetic base oils (Grp IV-V), fuel & dye markers, PPDs, Petroleum Sulphonates, 12HSA, molybdenum disulphide and various other products.

Our three principal divisions are: Petroleum Chemicals, Consumer Care (Personal care, Cosmetics and Home care) and Industrial Chemicals.

Through its affiliation with Petrochem Services Ltd in London, Unichem exclusively supplies ExxonMobil Chemical’s Synthetic range of products and white oils.

We are responsible for the distribution of synthetic base stocks under the brand names of SpectraSyn, Esterex, Synesstic, Elite (ExxonMobil's new metallocene PAOs) and a range of specialty additives to the lube oil blenders in sub-Saharan Africa.

Unichem Services is a technology leader in the field of industrial additives and greases, and through its exclusive distribution of The Elco Corporation's industrial and grease additive packages, we provide an unparalleled level of expertise and service to all grease manufacturers and industrial lubricant blenders in sub-Saharan Africa.
We are also the largest supplier of molybdenum disulphide in South Africa.

We have extended our services further by recently completing a 400,000 litre stainless steel bulk liquid storage facility on site for all our customers' base stock needs.
