Umkhanyakude Hospice

The organization has been found in 2011 by seven members with the vision of building the mini-hospital (Palliative Care Centre) that will improve, promote and provide quality, compassionate support and care for people facing a life limiting illnesses i.e. HIV & AIDS, CANCER, HYPERTENSION and others; to live a dignity life to the fullest; and also to help the patients to live in a comfortable environment by giving special care with home best care. The hospice will also fill the gaps that are provided by the hospitals, i.e. the shortage of beds in the hospitals for thus resulting to the discharging of patients whilst not fully recovered in health.
