Ukuthula Trust

WCF (West City Fellowship) was established in 1988 and is committed to the spiritual and social needs of Chesterville and Westville communities.

We broke the dividing walls of apartheid, racism and hatred and entered the township of Chesterville in 1991. Here we found an impoverished people degraded by unemployment and poverty. Over the past 25 years we have been involved in many projects to uplift the community.

WCF took a decision to fulfil its ongoing responsibility programme through a trust, the Ukuthula Trust. The trust is a registered non-profit organization and has a section 18A SARS exemption certificate. The trust will be used to raise funds for a building project and for project running costs thereafter. This will enable a more effective delivery of services to Chesterville and the surrounding areas, from within the community.

The building will be constructed at 11-29 Mhlathi Road, Chesterville. The building construction commenced on the 2nd February 2016.

The cost to construct the building is R10.5 Million. To date we have raised R2 Million. We appeal to you to support this project so that we can continue to change peoples lives.
