Thompsons Khusela Roads was established in 2011 as a one man operation specializing in Traffic Management or Traffic Accommodation as it is known to the Civil Construction industry, under the guidance and support of our larger sister company Thompsons Security Group and the demand for this specialized service, the roads division grew from strength to strength taking on new projects and new challenges.

Khusela roads is currently responsible for 22 projects nationwide, employing 46 dedicated Traffic safety officers, 342 contracted employees and utilizing a modern fleet of LDV’S and Safety trucks.

Within this growth Thompsons Khusela has maintained its quality and best practice as outlined in our HSE and Company policies. With CETA trained and accredited Traffic Safety Officers, passionate and knowledgeable senior management, state of the art reporting systems and a stern approach to safety on site we are motivated to give our clients peace of mind knowing that theIr site has been set above industry standard and all aspects of legal liability has been considered and the necessary measures put in place to minimize risk and hazard associated with roads construction.

In 2014 came the birth of Thompsons Khusela Signage division which specialises in the manufacture, supply and installation of road signs both temporary and permanent. Using only approved, quality materials in the manufacturing process we are fully compliant as per state legislation. Khusela Signs prides itself on its industry leading turnaround times and client focused business model. In addition Khusela signs now offer clients a wide range of cost effective road safety equipment.
