The Wildfarm

The Wildfarm Backpackers is located in Wilderness, the heart of the Garden Route of South Africa. It is located a few minutes drive from the little village of Wilderness and its beautiful long sandy beaches. It is situated on top of a hill with 360 degrees views all around of the Outeniqua Mountains, The Garden Route Lakes and the Indian Ocean!!!

Bread, cereal and fruits for breakfast included, with tea and coffee to follow!

The Wildfarm, South Africa, Garden Route, Wilderness has a wide variety of activities to offer, from adventure activities to hiking on one of the many day trails and beaches.The Wildfarm offers day tours and guided nature walks within Wilderness and the area. (See activities)

Wilderness is smack bang in the middle of the Garden Route between Mossel Bay and Plettenberg Bay. The Wildfarm Backpackers is a halfhour from the George airport and pick ups can be arranged. George is the business hub where the Garden Route Mall can be explored on rainy days.!!!

The Wildfarm is the perfect base to explore the Garden Route from. Oudsthoorn and the Cango Caves is an easy day trip to make aswell as Knysna and it's waterfront. So come and stay with us at The Wildfarm Backpackers in Wilderness and explore the Garden Route of South Africa till there is nothing left to explore!!!

The Wilderness village has a number of pubs and restaurants that are of the highest standards for wineing and dineing. There are several interesting little shops that sell everything from art and cratfs to beach towels and food.

Lots of activities to do in the Wilderness National Park and surrounding areas!

Dont have a car?. Dont worry we run a daily shutlle service to and from Wilderness and the surrounding beaches in the morning and the afternoon. Just take the BazBus to get here and we will pick you up. Check out our hip shuttle bus for the summer days.

The Wildfarm Backpackers offers a relaxed atmosphere and value for money in the Garden Route. It is aimed at the young at heart who enjoy the outdoors and life!

Directions:

Turn into Wilderness of the N2. Straight over the stop street to the T junction in front of the Hotel. Turn left and carry on straight on heights road up the steep hill. At the top of the hill turn right onto Whites Road and follow it for 2km. Turn up at the sign on right!

The Wildfarm is located in the little village of Wilderness in the Garden Route of South Africa. We offer a comfortable and relaxing stay for budget travellers from around the world! The perfect place to stay while exploreing the natural beauty of Wilderness!

We have double rooms, dorms rooms and lots of camping space. There is a large self catering kitchen and comfortable lounge with DSTV. Outside we have an extensive braai area where the fire keeps you warm at night!

Our restaurant is open with delicious homemade menu for the coming season. We also cater for all functions and parties at our amazing venue with beautiful sunset views!
