We are an independently managed and owned seaside luxury tower hotel consisting of 23 floors, a variety of high-end food and beverage experiences - two champagne bars and a revolving restaurant. It's the ultimate resory-style hotel in the heart of Sea Point, just minutes from the promenade and the V&A Waterfront.

Our History : Iconic and Historic – Built and opened in 1971

We are undergoing a major revamp which incorporates the replacement and upgrading of all air conditioning units and water supply systems throughout the entire hotel.
We have gutted and redesigned our lobby area, reception and all public areas, 1st floor restaurant and pool deck area in its entirety. Our Porte Cochere is also under redesign together with Top of the Ritz, Cape Town's only revolving restaurant where breathtaking 360 degree views of the ocean, mountain and the Mother City abound.
We now offer 213 sophisticated rooms in a modern contemporary style, design-driven details.
We have a multitude of development plans in the pipeline that will complement the Ritz Plaza from a retail perspective as well as the Ritz precinct as a whole. Opens 15 Dec 2017. Phase 2 will be completed next year.
