The Longhouse Guest House

The Longhouse is a nature lover's delight together with magnificent views over the Cederberg Mountains. The evening sunsets across the mountains are extra ordinary and pare well with a glass of Cederberg Wine. It is the place to come to and nourish the soul.

Breakfasts are sumptuous and generous. Our coffee is real. Complimentary wi fi is available throughout. All our guest rooms enjoy the modern comforts of air conditioning, heating and complimentary hospitality tray.

Clanwilliam is situated the heart of Rooibos country. An iced Rooibos tea is a welcome drink for many parched guests in the heat of the summer, to be enjoyed on the pool deck overlooking our sprawling lawns, a wetland filled with birds and the Cederberg Mountains.

The Longhouse Guesthouse is ideally situated for enjoyable day trips out to enjoy one of the many hikes set out in the Cederberg by Cape Nature or a visit to some of the well known San rock art painting sites which are a stunning legacy left by the southern San.

The West Coast is a short half an hours drive from Clanwilliam where good seafood can be enjoyed in Lamberts Bay together with a walk alongside the ocean on an open stretched beach.
