Eduport Developments (Pty) Ltd took over the operation and running of the Haven of Rest School, on the outskirts of Tongaat.

Eduport director, Richard Lennox, the former Headmaster of PLG Ballito Academy, will take over as the Principal of The Haven Academy. Many of the staff and students of the shut-down Ballito Academy have made the move across for 2017.

The Haven Academy is a private school, aimed at providing quality, affordable education on the Durban North Coast and will write the National Senior Certificate at the end of their grade 12 year.

Enrolments are open for students from grade RRR to grade 12
