The Embassy Family Church

Pastor Eddie & Rothea Jacobs is pastors and founders of the EMBASSY FAMILY CHURCH. The calling on Pastors Eddie & Rothea came during 1998 on their return from a trip to United States of America. The scripture Joshua 1-9 was the confirmation.
The couple started off their calling in 2001 at Alive in Christ Community Church in Kalksteenfontein. On 7 August 2003 they founded THE NEW HERITAGE CHRISTIAN CHURCH which later became EMBASSY FAMILY CHURCH. The ministry was founded at the Kuilsriver home of Pastors Eddie & Rothea with their two children Bronia and Keenan and six friends.
Since starting their ten year mandate in Valhalla Park, Kalksteenfontein area, the ministry concentrated on impacting and reaching broken families, single parents, drug addictions and training of leaders. The ministry also focused on assisting to young people getting reskilled and job ready with their JOB MATCH and SIZANANI programmes.
In 2014 in the spirit of Kingdom building, Pastor Rothea and Eddie Jacobs, joined The Love Church with some of their members and served faithfully here with Pastor Werner and Michelle Links. They were released early 2016 to relaunch the EMBASSY FAMILY CHURCH in the Northern Suburbs of Kuilsriver in Cape Town South Africa.
Ministry is not new to this couple, they have been in ministry most of their lives with THE CHRISTIAN EXPLAINERS. The group started in 1979 and ministered over many years in South Africa and even in the United States of America and Europe. Pastor and Eddie & Rothea were commissioned in 1997 to work in a full time capacity in the United States of America on behalf of the group. The group was the only Cape Town to ever have received a SAMA Award.
Pastor Eddie a former teacher is an able speaker and teacher of the Word and frequent many pulpits in South Africa and even overseas during their visits to the USA. He has a unique style of teaching in a humorous yet life changing way touching audience with clear and simple Bible truths. Pastor Eddie & Rothea Jacobs has a strong passion for people and having them reach their divine purpose.
