Bio:
During a rough transition from adolescence to young adult Ricochey turned to rap as an escape from drugs, loneliness and struggle. In 2014 Ricochey joint resources with rapper Eazy No Effort and indie label Bo Skova Records. Ricochey has worked as a waiter, call centre agent and other unskilled casual jobs to fund his recording, mastering and distribution costs.
Education:
At the beginning of 2015 Ricochey managed to secure a government bursary to study towards a Public Management Diploma at Tswhane North College. Ricochey currently has an Intro N4 and N4 Public Management behind his name.

Ricochey is a regular live performer at Hip Hop sessions, open mikes, street cyphers and State Theatre. He is a skilled and talented Master of Ceremonies, Great at head lining local Hip Hop events. Ricochey performs live at various functions and night clubs in Pretoria. In June 2015 Ricochey found himself part of an interview on Tshwane Fm (93.6) promoting Street Impact Grand Hustle Hip Hop Competition. In early 2016 Ricochey secured an interview in the daily sun for his latest single “Doing Ryt Under Gods Supervision” which was released on the 3rd of March 2016. He is set to perform and MC at the Picnic on a Roof Top event hosted by Grey. LifestyleSA at the Jakaranda Center on the 27th of March 2016 which is being sponsored by Mainstay.

Ricochey’s effortless and refreshing style of rapping combines Afrikaans and English in a way that is commercially viable and unique. A magnetic lyrical personality, Ricochey raps about life happenings in a hypnotic, advert and charming way with an emotionally aloft and carefree style. Ricochey’s delivery is diplomatic and riddled with clever word play and hard hitting aggressive punch lines from a steel trap mind. Objective:
Ricochey is on a mission to put the much over looked Pretoria Hip Hop entertainment industry on the South African music entertainment map. Ricochey is working on becoming a house hold brand name and Hip Hop personality in South Africa. He is currently preparing to release his second 5 track E.P compilation in June/July titled Emergency Room with which he hopes to break into the South African Hip Hop industry and reach half gold sales status.
