The Bungalow

The bungalow comprises an open plan living room and eat-in kitchen with concertina doors onto the deck. The main bedroom has a 4 poster bed with the bathroom and toilet across the passage. The second bedroom and bunk room are adjoined so the house is perfect for 2 couples with children or 1 couple with older and younger kids. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed and the bunk room has a double bed and 2 bunk beds. The bathroom has a big steel bath and a very private outside shower under the trees.

The bungalow has a farm style gate which is unlocked. They can drive right up to the house which has a wheel chair friendly ramp. The entire house is on 1 level so it is ideal for people with disabilities.

Scarborough is a super relaxed beach village bordering on Cape Point with pristine beaches and mountains. It is an extremely good family destination and almost everything can be accessed on foot. We often stay for 3 weeks without getting in the car and we have 3 kids under 5! The streets are gravel and the beach is 2 minutes walk from the house. The local coffee shop and deli where you can get everything from milk and bread to fresh fish organic vegetables or ice cream is also 2 minutes walk. There is also a restaurant and beer garden.

A car is useful for sight seeing and visiting other beaches but not essential.
