The Book Shoppe

As a community book shop we cater for both young and old and for a variety of tastes. We stock a wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles as well as a selection of both new and second-hand children’s books.

Since new stock is received on a daily basis, you’ll never visit the same shop twice. Each visit promises fresh titles to choose from.

We also offer a request service whereby customers are alerted when a book they are looking for becomes available.

For those who wish to sell books, please take note of the following:
- Smaller quantities of books (approx. 20 books or less) can be valued while you wait.
- Larger quantities of books must be left at the shop for valuation and you will be contacted with a price within 1- 2 days.
- An appointment can be made for a buyer to come out to your home for quantities too large to bring into the shop.

Please note that we buy selectively and cannot guarantee that we will purchase all books brought in for valuation. We do, however, encourage you to bring in any books that you may wish to sell. If we cannot make use of them, you have the option to pass them onto one of our charities. TEARS and Help the Rural Child are among the charities that collect books from our shop on a daily basis.
