This award winning facility is also at the forefront of environmentally conscious innovation. The course uses indigenous Princess fairways, flanked by Highveld Thatching Grass rough and the water management system is laid out in a series of attractive dams that harvest storm water and recycle irrigation water. The Princess fairways with their fine blade structure provide golfers with an immaculate playing surface.
The 9-hole par three golf course is built to full USGA specifications, and is both a challenging and rewarding course. A round, which takes approximately 60 minutes, will test all elements of your short game, and requires skill and accuracy with its challenging layout. The immaculately manicured greens, which are on average 350m², are firm and true and each round will leave both professionals and beginners with a desire to take up the challenge again and again.
The impressive driving range has both artificial and grass tees, and the numerous target greens, water features and bunkers, give each bay over 20 individually laser measured target points. So with a little imagination it is quite possible for you to “play” several different golf holes with the luxury of an unlimited supply of balls. In addition to this, the nearest greens are planted with a cool season grass ensuring an authentic response.
The short game practice area incorporates dedicated areas for chipping and bunker shots, as well as a magnificent 1800m² putting green which comfortably accommodates 18 flags and has a variety of slopes and angles to practice every possible putt.
