Thatchers Association of South Africa

The TASA is an Association for Thatching contractors and relevant industries and professionals. It is the formal spokes body of the Thatching Industry in South Africa. Members sign a Honorary Code and Code of Conduct and undertake to adhere to the SANS 10407 (Thatched Roof Construction) specification requirements which is part of the National Building Regulations SANS 10400. The Thatchers Association's publication "A Guide to Thatch Construction in South Africa" is as an e-book downloadable for free from their website at www.sa-thatchers.co.za
