Thandi House Baby Home

Thandi House is a family centered home located in Pietermaritzburg caring for sick, orphaned, abandoned, abused and disabled children of all ages. We have opened our hearts and lives making each child as if they were our own, providing them with a loving and nurturing permanent family life. We are dedicated to developing each child in all areas of their being; education, physical, emotional and spiritual. They are surrounded by all the love and security they need in life to grow and shine and become amazing, strong and confident adults.

We also care for pregnant / teenage moms and their baby; whom under our loving and supportive wing, we help them into the role of motherhood. We provide mom and baby with a loving, long-term, stable home as we guide mom into making mature choices about her life, future and education and support her in achieving these goals and down the path to security, employment and one day independence for her and her baby.
