TELL INDABA

Tell Indaba Motion Pictures was founded by Thembalethu Professor Mchunu, a graduate of Durban University of Technology in year 2016.

To educate through entertainment he introduced simple ways of learning for school pupils and university students, by introducing a variety of work-shopped theatre in education programmes accompanied by a question and answer session at the end of each workshop.

Thembalethu, named this new company, “Tell Indaba Motion Pictures” after realizing his great potential on telling stories, and decided to make his words live and share the same path with the pictures he had in mind.
He then compiled a team of professional writers, directors and actors and collaborated with them to explore around his ideas; and that was the birth of telling stories through motion pictures.

Therefore, Tell Indaba Motion Pictures is all about “telling stories” but in a fun and interesting way, that keeps the audience enjoying the entertainment while they learn.

Clearly, this company is committed to improving education by simplifying what challenges students, and break it down into small interesting theatrical scenes that are easy to learn and understand.
