Syferfontein 310 Development Forum

The organization will have a development centre aimed at making the lives of the youth, children, the elderly and the community as easy and productive as possible.

2.1. The organization’s plans will consist of the following:

Health Education
Syferfontein 310 Development Forum aims to establish a mini health department for trauma, drug abuse, Human Immuno-Deficiency Virus (HIV)/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Tuberculosis (TB), Cyber, and traditional Bullying counseling and awareness.

Social Development
a. Entrepreneurial Development
• This division with the help of successful entrepreneurs and business experts will give advice on business related information and direction to aspiring entrepreneurs.

b. Poverty Alleviation
• Introduction and techniques of growing own vegetable gardens.

Skill Development
• Continuous skills workshops will be held to try and curb unemployment and allow the youth and other community workers to learn to use their hands and unleash any hidden talents.

Sports and Recreation
The organization has realized that the youth are no longer active and interested in sports. We as an organization would love to revive that love for sports.

Art and Culture
The organization aims at having an art and culture department whereby aspiring artist, musicians, dancers and poets can showcase their talent. At the moment we have people who used to play in jazz bands in the past as part of this department. They have come together to establish a jazz band and are ready to hold music classes/lessons.
