Sweta Patel

Sweta started her journey as an entrepreneur at the age of 21 when she set out to help young women achieve their goals related to careers and relationships. She aspired to write three books and use them as the catalyst for the growth of a strong community of young women. As she grew this community to 8,000 engaged women, she inadvertently discovered her passion for marketing.

Sweta then set out to open her first marketing agency at the age of 23. As Founder and CEO of Global Marketing Tactics, she helped train small business owners on how to market on a shoe string budget. She built a certification program for small business owners and startup founders so they could amplify their reach. Her high-end services included implementing the use of the latest data-driven marketing techniques to grow her clients' national brands, communities and audiences.

After working at an incubator for over a year in Paris, Sweta decided to embrace a new challenge – and that was planning her next move. She headed to Silicon Valley where she started working with portfolio startups from the top accelerators in town!

After working with over 250 startups in her career, Sweta has gained a strong understanding of how and why some new companies succeed while others fail fast. She now seeks to use her experience to provide founders with the inspiration and consultation they need in order to take their startup to the finish line!

In her free time, Sweta enjoys traveling, training for marathons and salsa dancing.
