WHAT IS S.W.E.A.T. 1000?

S.W.E.A.T. stands for Specialized Weight Endurance Aerobic Training with the 1000 representing the calories that you can burn in the 1 hour workout.


WHO IS IT FOR?

S.W.E.A.T. 1000® offers clients the ability to have a fun workout in a class environment irrespective of your fitness level.

In order to accommodate these varying fitness levels on our specialised incline trainer treadmills our highly trained professional instructors call out different speed and inclines using the terms walker, jogger, and runner respectively. It is important that you are aware that the instructors speed commands are merely guidelines, and can be adjusted accordingly, depending on each individuals fitness level.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

S.W.E.A.T. 1000 is a unique cutting-edge boutique group training class. All classes run by appointment and run throughout the day. There are NO membership fees, NO joining fees and Clients have the option of either paying per session or purchasing a package of sessions.

All bookings are made online through our easy-to-use international software solution, or upon arrival as long as your class is pre-booked. If you wish to make payment before your class please ensure that you arrive 15 minutes before your class. We do not offer accounts – all classes are to be purchased upfront.

You are also able to earn Discovery Vitality points at all S.W.E.A.T. 1000 Studios.

Each class is 1 hour long, with half the time spent on the treadmills and the other half on the floor. Clients either start on the treadmill or on the floor, and alternate accordingly at set intervals called by the instructor. S.W.E.A.T. 1000 combines interval training with specially designed treadmills which incline to 30 degrees for maximum results. This is blended with core, functional and resistance floor work as well as high intensity, creative and dynamic routines.

Interval training, functional training, core stability work, athletic training and agility training all combined to give you the perfect workout and ensure that your workout is both effective and efficient, thereby maximising your results.

Classes also include elements of yoga, thai chi, boxing, kickboxing and flexibility training, set to pumping music (classes often incorporate live DJs) with amazing lighting effects, to ensure that classes are fun, exciting and motivating.
