Summerhill Function Venue KZN

Summerhill function venue has restored and converted an old working farm situated in a country setting completely surrounded by lush forests.

There is a beautifully converted large milking shed perfect for any function or as a wedding reception hall for smaller weddings up to 80 guests. Whether it's a rustic chic vibe or a grand draped hall that you are looking for, this hall can accommodate what you are looking for.

There is also a smaller converted tractorshed, perfect for an outdoor function with a gorgeous firepit adjacent to it.

Accommodation at Summerhill Function venue:

There is a beautiful swiss cabin on stilts with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan lounge and kitchen area. Great for a family getaway or a weekend with friends to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town life.

There are 4 beautiful rustic converted stables, all with an en suite bathroom, tea and coffee facilities and their own decks overlooking the gorgeous blinkwater mountains.

We have 9 converted pigsties, which may not sound glamorous, but don't let the idea of the name scare you, these well decorated 2 sleeper units are ideal for an overnight stay after a great party;) These units have communal showers and toilets.

Lastly we have a beautiful, quaint converted silo. This is our "couples" unit. Ever wondered what its like to sleep inside a silo? Well now's your chance;) This unit sleeps 2 and has an en suite, tea and coffee facilities and a quaint deck for 2 with an amazing view.

We also have ample space for camping, should you require.

Summerhill function venue also caters for light meals on request (prior arrangement required) as well as breakfast options for your guests;)

Activities include walking, hiking, mountain biking,bird watching (this area is renowned for its variety of birdlife) and getting away to enjoy some quality time with your family and friends.
