The Diepkloof community originated through the forced removals from Alexandra Township and Sophia town in particular in the 1950s by the government of the day then. The Catholic community served in Christ the King in Orlando East where they were heartily welcomed and are today still very grateful to the Orlando Catholics.
The congregation then hired a classroom for Sunday services at the Madibane High School, and the Ntuli family house for during the week services and the Diepkloof Catholics are still grateful to this benevolent family.
Then the priest, the leadership and the parishioners decided to build their own church, St Margaret, which bore this magnificent house another additional sanctuary of the Lord. Since then we have never looked back. The Lord has been gracious to us as he continues to edify us in spirit and grow our family in Christ. Now we have grown into St Margaret and Immaculate Conception. Welcome to our home and we invite you to join us in fellowship. God bless you.
