South African Fine Art Print Fair

FINE ART PRINT FAIR IN THE MAKING

It’s all coming together! The announcement that we are holding the first South African Fine Art Print Fair later this month has been greeted with universal support and excitement. In fact the response has been overwhelming.

The event has now been given the blessing and support of Business Arts South Africa (BASA).

The artists exhibiting sounds like a who’s who of the printmaking community including:

Says Sharon Sampson, the organiser of the event, and an exhibiting artist: 'We are very excited to see lots of new work, never exhibited before, being framed for the exhibition. Fine art printmaking in South Africa has never before experienced such enthusiastic interest’.

The exhibition will feature the cream of professional printmakers and artists from The Artists’ Press (Mark Attwood, White River), Artist Proof Studio (Bevan de Wet, Newtown), Blue Door Studio (Collin Cole, Parktown), SA Print Gallery (Gabriel Clark-Brown, Woodstock, Cape Town and Kevin de Klerk, Prince Albert), and Sharon Sampson Studio (Illovo, Johannesburg).

Being held at GIBS (Gordon Institute of Business Science), Illovo, Johannesburg it will be open from Thursday 29 October to Saturday 7 November.
