Situated at the Entrance Gate to the Namib Naukluft Park, Sossusvlei Lodge offers direct access to the towering red sand dunes, the famous pan of Sossusvlei, the scorched black trees of Dead Vlei and the remarkable depths of the Sesriem Canyon.

The Standard and Superior Units feature a spacious air-conditioned twin-bedded room with a corner couch, fridge, refreshment area with tea and coffee making facilities, luggage space, safe and an en suite bathroom. The Junior Suite provides a romantic haven featuring a patio with a splash pool, large living area, queen-sized bedroom and an en-suite bathroom.

The Lodge’s Adventure Centre provides a large variety of exciting activities to discover the Sossusvlei area.

After an eventful day, relax under the shady trees of the beer garden, browse at the curio shop, take a dip in the sparkling pool or unwind at the bar area or sundowner deck.

The al fresco terrace offers magnificent views of the floodlit waterhole where you can watch the passing parade of oryx, springbok, jackal, ground squirrel and ostrich, whilst enjoying exquisite food and award-winning wines. Indeed a visual and culinary contrast, bearing in mind the relative remoteness of this exceptional location.
