Soil for Life

Soil for Life is a Cape Town-based non-profit organisation that is growing healthy soil, people and communities. We teach people how to build soil and grow healthy plants so that families can sit down to plates of safe, fresh nutritious food, all year round.

Soil for Life envisages a world where everyone is growing some of their own food using environmentally-sound methods of food production.

We’re changing the world one person and one garden at a time.

By encouraging people to create green fertile spaces in poorly resourced areas, we help them reconnect with the earth.
