NATURAL PROCESSES
Ingredients are only a part of what makes a product natural. Equally important is how those ingredients are processed. We keep to minimum, if any processing, including distillation, condensation, extraction, steaming, pressure cooking and hydrolysis. Our goal is to maximize purity without negative effects on the ingredients. Simply put, our goal is to keep natural ingredients, natural.
GENERAL INFORMATION ON - BEESWAX
Primitive people recognised and used beeswax and honey as an antiseptic aid for healing wounds. The honeybee secretes beeswax to build the walls of the honeycomb. When wax is secreted by the bee it is a transparent colourless liquid, which later turns into a semi-solid substance on contact with the atmosphere.

Propolis is the resinous material gathered by honeybees from flowers and leaf buds of various plants. It is used mainly to disinfect and waterproof the hive. Propolis contains a variety of pharmacological and biological properties. The most important properties of Simply Bee products are the anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral properties.

OUR STORY
Simply Bee is a family orientated business! Our dad, Derick Hugo started with beekeeping in 1954 and kept it as a hobby that grew into a business in 1994 when he and our mom, Marie returned to Hopefield to retire.
