Why Saseke Safaris?
It was a privilege being exposed to the secret life of Leopards by a magnificent female called Saseke. Saseke means beautiful or beauty, in our local language Shangane. The Shangane people are world renowned for their exceptional tracking skills. This skill and bush knowledge still leads people to incredible encounters with the inhabitants of the African bush today.

We are often asked as guides to relate our ‘best’ experience on safari. Being exposed to the tourism industry, our country’s natural wonders and guests from all over the world for many years, has taught us the most important aspect of a successful safari. The best experience in the bush as guide is to witness and facilitate the awe and wonder of our guests when they interact with the natural environment. To be the link and connection as guide to that experience is an honor and responsibility. Our logo was designed by a guest that became a friend, as a sign of our commitment to this experience.

With a combined 40 years of hospitality industry at our exposal, we believe that we can offer you the experience you deserve. Hannnes Hamman has been a successful tourism entrepreneur for 18 years and Jaco Buys has been guiding for 22 years. He was awarded the prestigious Safari Guide of the Year for 2016.
