Sables Creatures is a pro-life animal rescue organisation founded June 2012. Our mission is to help homeless, abused, neglected animals and provide assistance to pet owners who live in poverty in under privileged areas to care for their pets.
The areas we focus on helping are faced with extreme financial hardship where people struggle to meet their basic needs and the animals are left to fend for themselves most times having to eat out of the trash heaps or roam the streets in search of food and water. We put all of our efforts into treating the sick animals, spaying, mass vaccinations, deworming, feeding, educating and providing kennels as they have no shelter from the weather etc
We rescue the neglected or unwanted pets and try to find them loving homes and do emergency rescues from saving a pup stuck in a storm drain, kittens from the ceiling of a broken down building or a dog caught in a trap, we always try to help our furry friends.
Every 3 months we have a big community outreach day where one of our Vets comes out into the townships with us where we Vaccinate, spay, feed and dip the many animals that arrive. Our new goals are to build kennels for the animals that have no shelter and either dig holes in the ground or take shelter where they can. We also assist other rescue organisations when we can to give them a helping paw :) We are determined to improve the lives of the animals in poor communities.
