Our bakery is situated at Beulah Farm Deli on the R27, about 500 m from the Yzerfontein/Darling turnoff from Cape Town's side. Make a stop on your way to stock up on sourdough bread, baguettes, rustique or pastries for your weekend or holiday, or on your way back home. Browse the Farm Deli while you’re there for a selection of local products like cheese, exotic mushrooms, pomegranate ice lollies and reductions, farm style preserves, interesting toffees and rusks, and a whole range of handmade meat products like smoked bacon, salami, chorizo, French saucisson, black forest ham, and much more from Eighteen94 Curesmiths. Stay for a lovely Beulah lunch of handmade meaty pies and BEAUTIFUL fresh salads, enjoy a platter with our breads and a combination of all the local flavours we have to offer, or come to have a flaky, fresh, real croissant for breakfast with homemade jam and a delicious coffee from Wings Coffee Roasters in Langebaan. If you’re in a hurry on your way, grab a take-away quiche, pie or sandwich and coffee for padkos…

We bake every day except Mondays, and our bread is also available from The Flying Pig Cafe in Darling.

And this is the story of how how Rosemead Artisan came about...

We fell in love with bread and artisan baking (and each other) while working at C'est la Vie in Kalk Bay - with baker Jo Hill, Brett's aunt. Now, 4 years later, we are married and even deeper into this labour of love than we thought we would be!

After Kalk Bay we worked in Stellenbosch for 3 years at De Oude Bank Bakkerij, where we gained invaluable experience in our trade - and life!

And now we are here, finally! Excited to bring our bread and love for what we do into the area and community, and to those on the road...
